Robert Rodenkirchen Memorial Track and Field Scholarship
Established in 2021, the Robert Rodenkichen Memorial Track and Field Scholarship will be awarded on an as needed basis to a student-athlete who demonstrates both strong athletic competitiveness and academic performance with plans to continue track and field competition at the collegiate level. Scholarship funds are intended to assist a student with fees associated with tuition, housing, and course textbooks.
The scholarship is offered to a William L. Dickinson High School (Jersey City, New Jersey) senior participating on the Girls or Boys Track and Field Team who will be enrolled as a full-time college student. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and have earned at least one varsity letter in Track and Field. The scholarship recipient can receive 1) up to $2000 if attending a four-year institution or 2) up to $1000 if attending a two-year institution. Applicants must be recommended by a Teacher, a Dickinson High School Track and Field Team Coach, or the Athletic Director.
